Summary: We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Part-Time Helpdesk Intern. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience by assisting with IT support tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer service to end-users. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT support and build a strong foundation in technical and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
  • Configure and maintain IT equipment, including workstations and peripherals.
  • Assist users with software applications and updates as needed.
  • Address basic connectivity issues and escalate complex problems.
  • Provide timely, professional customer support via various communication channels.
  • Contribute to IT projects and documentation tasks.
  • Other responsibilities as required

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

  • Enrolled in a Computer Science or IT program with basic technical knowledge.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, hardware, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proficient in office productivity tools and eager to learn new technologies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude.
  • Nice to haves:
    • Experience in customer service or IT support is a plus.
    • Familiarity with helpdesk tools, ITIL concepts, or relevant certifications.
