How can you grow with Nufarm?

Based in Greenville, MS Nufarm is looking for a Project Manager reporting to the Project Engineering Manager. The Project Manager will manage multiple projects from opportunity to completion of the scope to meet the objective for all Nufarm sites. The Project Manager is responsible for a project’s outcome in HSE, project performance, budget, and schedule. They are responsible for engaging the key stakeholders of the plant to ensure the project objectives are met. They will be developing a detail scope, design and construction packets, issuing and accepting permits, scheduling with production downtime, and overseeing contractors safety and quality.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead by example and drive an incident free workplace and ensure PTW program compliance.

  • Lead capital projects from inception to completion to achieve the proposed results. This looks like communicating design, plans, and progress to the plant and working with the plant to create the best results. Using the established project management systems, tools, and processes. Developing MOC and offer HSE documentation for each project.

  • Manage contractors to complete the tasks safely and as designed. Responsible for the quality of the contractors work as well as coordinating and communicating the schedule and needs to the plant and contractors.

  • Investigate improved manufacturing processes and techniques and implement where appropriate to drive improvements in cost, safety, quality or efficiency. Establish engineering standards for use at all facilities and with contract engineer firms.

What do you bring?

You hold Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical or electrical) or have at least 5 years related experience as a project manager. The right candidate will be able to track projects, develop design and construction packets and lead project meetings. We are looking for someone with solid, working knowledge of chemical processing equipment and industry standards. It also helps to effectively communicate with many departments at multiple levels in the organization.
