We’re looking to engage a proactive and customer centric Regional Sales Manager for Turf & Ornamental in the Midwest region. Someone who provides sales and product support to distributors, National Accounts, end users, key influencers, Nufarm Customer Service and the Sales Manager-T&O. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for Turf & Ornamental sales and marketing of Nufarm branded products and Nufarm private label products in the states of Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for all areas of sales and support to individual customers in assigned territory, specifically assigned National accounts and/or support of overlapping National accounts in assigned territory. Coordinate assigned accounts and National accounts where they overlap in other territories for successful achievement of national objectives. Accept responsibility for an annual Turf & Ornamental sales budget & subsequent forecast that is reasonable as set and approved by Nufarm Americas, Inc. and Sales Manager – T&O.
- Develop with prior approval from the Sales Manager – T&O, a Regional Business Plan applicable to the Turf & Ornamental Business within your geography.
- Provide assistance and coordinate a positive relationship among internal Nufarm groups such as Product Management, Regulatory, Sales and Marketing and Customer Service that support Turf & Ornamental and Company Objectives. Maintain this collective relationship to help mutually grow Nufarm both internally and externally.
- Complete and timely execution of all administrative requirements set forth by Nufarm (e.g. Monthly expense reporting, weekly reports, Salesforce data management, vacation requests, check requests, terms and pricing exception requests, and rebate and program special requests).
What do you bring?
You’re an excellent communicator with strong technical and product knowledge who brings at least 10 years prior experience within a chemical pesticide environment, turf and ornamental sales or related agricultural field. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in agronomy or a related field of agriculture. You’re comfortable operating in an agile environment and you have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to travel overnight 70% of the time. You’re well versed in Salesforce and you have strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills. Most importantly, you’re positive, results driven, and you thrive off being empowered to own your own outcomes.
