The Senior Director of Growth Strategy & Programs will support the identification, development and execution of Go-To-Market transformational projects to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic position of OKTA. You will have an opportunity to work on diverse global projects, including M&A, with senior leadership, business sponsors, and functional working teams that are supporting these high-profile initiatives. This role will support the development and execution of detailed business cases and project plans to support the implementation and long-term sustainability of the programs. The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with both department and C-level leadership to identify, evaluate, prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives across the business.
  • Lead in collaborating with project owners, internal business partners, and key stakeholders to define and align project objectives, agree on deliverables, secure resources and bring projects to completion all in support of OKTA’s short- and long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with our Corporate Development teams to support GTM acquisition due diligence, build models and quantitative rigor for acquisition deal sales projections (top line growth, ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue)).
  • Oversee, manage, and present on a variety of highly prioritized initiatives, as well as complete ad-hoc projects, requests, and analysis.

The Ideal Candidate possesses:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience in strategy or related field. Previous high-growth operations or startup experience is highly desired. Strong technical, business and finance acumen.
  • Ability to lead/project manage cross-functional teams working on complex, operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience developing and implementing end-to-end change management programs to drive adoption of initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion.
  • Exceptional people skills; ability to engage and influence people across teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a portfolio of assignments and drive complex strategic projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Proven client management skills, including ability to interact with and influence senior company executives (SVPs, VPs, CFOs, Presidents, and C-Level Officers).
  • High EQ and IQ. Solution oriented, data driven, learning mindset.
  • Embodies trust. Must have high ethical standards and ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAAS industry issues and concerns.
  • Broad knowledge across Go-To-Market functions and the standard operating KPIs.
