The Okta Partners & Alliance Team
We are looking for a Sr. Partner Initiative and Project Manager with passion for connecting cross-functional departments and managing projects that advance our position in the market through our partnering community.. Our Partner & Alliance team manages, supports, and drives initiatives with Okta’s partner ecosystem, to deliver high value outcomes for both the partners and Okta.
How you’ll make an impact
Reporting to the Director of Partners & Alliances, this role will be a key member of the leadership team, as they will align, drive and report on our global portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a project management background, and strength in communicating with all levels of an organization. They will leverage their expertise and coaching to drive results, gain priority and lead our partner team and partners to the next level.
What you’ll do
- Support and scale a Global Partner organizations
- Plan and execute strategic initiatives aligned to corporate, function and departmental activity
- Develop and track success metrics
- Work hand-in-hand with GTM functions, Sales Ops and IT to drive growth and opportunities.
- Communicate, present, and build relationships
- Essential understanding of core business processes, where partner functions sit within and the x-functional dependencies to scale
What you’ll bring with you:
Strong cross functional GTM experience and knowledge of IT prioritization is a key to success. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills, a project management background, and strength in communicating with all levels of an organization. They will leverage their expertise and coaching to drive results, gain priority and lead our partner team and partners to the next level.
- 7+ years of direct experience in GTM organizations
- 4+ Project management skills
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Highly skilled relationship and rapport building skills to assist and help drive success.
- Experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to conceptualize and sell ideas internally
- Excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities
Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
