ROLE OVERVIEW

The Operational Risk Analyst is responsible for risk assessment, mitigation tracking, and other recurring aspects of TE Connectivity’s Enterprise Risk Portfolio.

As a member of TE’s ERM team, this individual will help ensure that TE’s businesses and core functions are conducting appropriate risk assessments to guide business decisions, and that core aspects of the ERM program are carried out.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the development, management, and maintenance of Risk Mitigation Plans for identified Enterprise Risks.
  • Carry out detailed walkthroughs and process mapping to identify significant risks and mitigations/controls.
  • Facilitate recurring risk reviews, pressure testing, and mitigation update discussions with identified enterprise risk owners.
  • Support the maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management Risk Register.
  • Ensure appropriate reviews of financial impacts of operational risks, incident root cause, and business impact analyses.
  • Monitor, review, and communicate the impact to the risk profile of future initiatives, including new product assessments, changes to trading strategies, targeted risk reviews, and major business changes.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of and recurring reporting on new and emerging risks with potential impacts to TE operations and interests.
  • Maintain detailed risk metrics to help identify trends and program improvements.
  • Stay abreast of current industry standards and best practices.
  • Support crisis management response processes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of systems and data to ensure optimal use of technology.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in a relevant field or 3+ years’ experience performing similar duties in the public or private sector.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Skilled in project management & Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Exposure to data visualization and metrics platforms.
  • Flexibility to work outside of traditional hours for meetings with global colleagues in other time zones and/or to support crisis activations.
  • Enterprise Risk Management training and/or certifications preferred.

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $74,500 - $111,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
