Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

  • Be able to gather output from the machines
  • Capable of using calipers and performing an inspection plan.
  • Have a professional demeanor and be capable of coaching other employees.
  • Be responsible for leading employees.
  • Must be able to visually identify quality defects.
  • Other duties as needed.

What your background should look like:

  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience as an Assembly Operator I at TE Connectivity, or 2 years of related automated experience.
  • Be capable of standing or sitting for an eight to twelve-hour shift, operating two handed equipment that requires complete mobility of hands and wrists.
  • Be capable of reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Be able to push, pull, slide, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Have basic math and problem-solving skills.
