Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Responsibilities:

  • Work SAP / MRP daily reports and process requisitions and POs for components and raw materials.
  • Work daily with suppliers to ensure all components and raw materials purchased are available on time
  • Monitor Excess reports to control overall inventory levels on product responsibilities.
  • Support planning and engineering with quoting materials.
  • Monitor and keep up to date purchasing parameters in SAP.
  • Work with planning team on expedites.
  • Support the Quality department when quality defects are found and work to process returns.
  • Support TEOA and other special projects as needed.
  • Support and serve as backup for planning initiatives as needed.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience in Supply Chain/Sourcing/Production Planning.
  • SAP and MRP experience preferred.
  • Sourcing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, time management and proven computer skills
  • Ability to deal with fast paced multiple demands and very dynamic situations
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and related PC skills essential
  • Ability to maintain integrated computer systems and related data accuracy
