Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

MISSION OVERVIEW
The Project Management Transformation Manager´s mission is to lead the ICT Project Management (PJM) Transformation Plan transversally across the different roadmaps and vertically in some of them from definition to implementation.
The PJM Transformation Manager will review new and existing processes, resources and systems, making and overseeing any changes to the company infrastructure where necessary. It will coordinate function, measure progress and report to the Senior Leadership in regular basis.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

  • Facilitate the ICT Business Transformation strategy to enhance growth and productivity within the Project Management function while orchestrating cross functional collaboration.
  • Strategic thinking to help improve the performance of the business and improve our time to market and PJM processes through building functional capability through people, process, and technology.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, lead efforts for efficiencies, and establish functional best practices through working with the global teams.
  • Create a system to evaluate the success of any adjustments made within the organization and present any findings.
  • Act as point of contact between different departments within the company and relevant third parties.
  • Responsible for leading communication plans for project updates including change management and risk mitigation activities working with teams for issue resolution.
  • Reporting out to the Leadership team, cross functional teams, and key stakeholders
  • Support HR issues including recruitment, staff training and appraisal
  • Support IT issues in particular MDM and process automation

What your background should look like:

  • Master’s or graduate level degree in related field preferred, Bachelor’s level degree required
  • 4+ years experience with increasing responsibility within operations, project management, or related field
  • Experience/Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement methodologies strongly preferred
  • “Big picture” thinker with a high degree of organizational skill and a team-focused leadership approach
  • Ability to drive multiple projects at the same time and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to set goals and motivate team members in particular across functions
  • Proven experience in working with teams in multiple countries as well as multi-nationality teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong English language skills
  • Strong knowledge of technical tools specific to Project Management (MS Project)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Must be willing to travel up to 15% annually

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $127,300–152,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
