TE is looking for a Senior-level Manufacturing Engineer for our Rt. 230 facility in Mount Joy, PA.
Join our experienced, innovative and connected engineering team and help us move aerospace component manufacturing to the next level! Bring your fresh ideas and knowledge of lean manufacturing to make a real impact on quality and productivity. We’ve created a space where you’ll have the entrepreneurial freedom to explore solutions using elbow-grease and cutting-edge technology.
This role is for a hands-on manufacturing engineer, a technical leader and someone accustomed to being the go-to person in supporting production. You should be skilled in applying innovative methods in designing fixtures, doing analysis, and preparing technical documents and be comfortable interacting with people. We’d expect you to be able to lead small teams -- made up of folks from different roles -- to implement improvements and solve quality issues. The job is fast-paced, fun and interesting, and while you’ll focus on uptime, you must be able to react quickly and willingly to changing priorities. We all need to move at the pace of the customer. You’ll own your manufacturing processes (including documentation) and will have the freedom and influence to improve their output. You’ll also develop new processes and work with the product engineering team to design products for manufacturability. Once those new products are launched, you’ll lead capital equipment projects to make them faster, better. Our engineering team expects collaboration and promotes the free transfer of knowledge.
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- A proven record of increasing productivity and achieving cost savings.
- Strong communication to all levels of an organization.
- Proficient with 3D modeling software such as Creo Parametric.

- Programming and troubleshooting robots and basic CNC equipment.
- Programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
- Adhesives, bonding, and soldering.
- Molding and potting.
- SAP manufacturing and purchasing.
- Six-Sigma continuous improvement techniques (Green or Black Belt is a plus!)
