Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Hours: 1st shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM (Monday – Friday) - Overtime as needed

Breakdown of hours: 10-minute morning break; 10-minute afternoon break; half hour lunch period

Job Summary: Prepare machined parts for shipment

Duties: Remove sharp edges from machined parts

Polish and clean parts

Box and ship parts to customers

Record all shipments

Keep area clean, and orderly

Perform general machine shop tasks as assigned

Be cognizant of Company’s ISO 9001-2008 QMS Policy and procedures; their relevance and importance in daily activities and strive to continually contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.

What your background should look like:

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent

Minimum 6 months general work experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to perform repetitive tasks

Ability to communication with internal and external customers

Tools & Equip Used Materials Handled: Metal parts

Polishing tools

Inspection tools

Small hand tools

Department paperwork

Physical Activity: Maximum weight to be lifted or carried unassisted:

Approximate number of hours standing: 4 – 8 hours

Approximate number of hours walking/sitting: Up to 50 lbs.

Varied depending upon job assignment
