TE Connectivity in Milpitas, CA is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to support sites with the monthly Regional Supply Review for the SIOP process to identify and ensure risks and opportunities and take necessary proactive measures to close gaps to meet budgets. Lead, manage, motivate, and develop Supply chain team. Proactively work with Demand Management, Customer Service, and plants for end-to-end optimization. Work with and coach the MPS teams to optimize the production plan with the aim to support customer demand, optimize production utilization, and balance inventory in a targeted manner. Assist the plants with highlighting any risks or gaps in available machine capacity, and coordinate with Demand, Product Management, and Project Management to ensure additional capacity is ordered and implemented in time. Work closely with the Global Capacity Planning team to tie short-term constraints to long-term constraints and drive action. Assist Material Planning team with escalations and critical part numbers, including review of the schedule. Coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure the correct priority and sequence for critical purchased components. Understand and utilize MRP, and work with plants to identify and correct gaps in MRP planning. Lead the team to monitor MRP system setup, identify capacity constraints and proactively expand drive capacity to avoid supply and demand gaps. Ensure appropriate parameter settings, system settings and system usage. Manage and minimize the risks (for example operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain. Promote process improvement to support stock accuracy and a defined cadence for inventory and reconciliation. Manage performance and identify appropriate measures to achieve KPI targets. Support the effective development and introduction of new products to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met and inventory impacts are managed without adversely affecting inventory turns or creating obsolete or excess inventory. Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process. Remote work opportunity. Requires 25% domestic/international travel.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Business Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Special Requirements: Requires 2 years of experience with:
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP system logic/design (SAP/Kinaxis).
- Ability to calculate a production strategy founded on revenue, statistical analysis of demand variability, and metric relevance.
- Statistical understanding to include standard deviation, COV, tact time, and accumulated lead time.
- Critical manufacturing processes (changeovers, segmentation, optimized sequencing).
- Cross functional team experience (supply chain, operations, finance, logistics).
