Education:
Role is intended for a student completing their second year of training toward a 4-year BSME degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minor degrees in ME or other disciplines will certainly be of interest as well.
Responsibilities
As an ICT Product Development Engineering Intern, you will work with our team and more senior Engineers to design and develop new products for the Industrial and Commercial Transportation market. Some of this teams’ responsibilities include:
- Understanding customer requirements and translating them into cost-effective designs
- Mocking up concepts and prototypes of new products and assemblies
- Working across functions to ensure designs are complete on time, on cost and to TE and customer expectations
- Preparing product specifications, testing and qualifications
- Partnering with sales and marketing to prepare new product presentations and trainings

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $18.00 – $27.00/hourly (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
