Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s IT Operations Teams support hardware installation and configuration and ongoing computer maintenance. They monitor batch schedules and take actions as necessary in response to schedule problems or abnormal program terminations and manage tape backups, including physical tape handling; coordinate, diagnose and troubleshoot employee issues with personal computers and related systems; provide support services to employees with technical problems and information technology issues involving desktop, laptop or network services from local personnel or from employees using network remote access. TE’s IT Operations Teams provide timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customers to appropriate technical personnel. They develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines relating to remote IT support. At times they may monitor and troubleshoot equipment and assist with logging and documentation, cabling, racking, and server installations.

TE RSD North America is seeking an IT Operations Analyst for the local IT Department. The candidate will perform a variety of user support, system administration, and application troubleshooting tasks. The candidate is expected to deliver excellent customer service and be willing to take on any kind of task.

What your background should look like:


  • Provide support for all PC users through a mix of phone, e-mail, and deskside service
  • Setup, install, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop computer equipment
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting for LAN, WAN, and VPN connections
  • Help support manufacturing and production systems
  • May perform system administration for physical and virtual server infrastructure
  • Support and participate in IT-related projects

  • Enjoys helping people solve problems
  • Highly organized with a focus on maintaining detail at a fast pace
  • Able to track a variety of incoming requests without losing focus
  • Can work with a team as well as independently
  • Ability to analyze problems quickly and effectively

What your background should look like:

  • Pursuing a computer science (or related) degree and/or advanced technical certification
  • Computer-related degree or advanced technical certification
  • Proficient with all current versions of Microsoft Windows Client and Server OS
  • Familiar with mobile device support

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $31.00 - $41.00 per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
