Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.
As a EH&S Support IV, you are responsible for:
Conduct formal and systematic reviews of campus operations and activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations such as CAA, CWA, RCRA, EPCRA, etc. and applicable State of Massachusetts rules and regulations.
Prepare and/or facilitate reports and documents as required by regulatory agencies and corporate management (SARA, TURA, air permit compliance record keeping, TIER II reporting and DOT requirements among others)
Regularly monitor regulatory changes to ensure continued compliance with upcoming changes in federal, state, and local rules and regulations
Provide regular reports to the EH&S Manager regarding compliance status, the cost of compliance, and the results of audits and inspections
Coordinate emergency preparedness, response activities, and contingency plan to best protect company assets and ensure business continuity
Interact with all departments and all levels of management to provide EH&S support
Monitor the operation of the DI water generation equipment
Monitor the operation of the wastewater treatment equipment
Assist Maintance by completing production machine PM duties
Assist Maintance during complex machine repair operations
What your background should look like:
Minimum 5 year’s relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Background in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously working on multiple projects that may involve several stakeholders
Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) laws/regulations specifically in RCRA, EPCRA, CWA, and CAA
Strong electro-mechanical aptitude

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $60,300 – $90,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
