Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Electrician Teams install, repair and maintain wiring, electric fixtures and control equipment in the facilities they support. They complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Hours- 12am-8pm with a 5% Shift Differential

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under minimum supervision, determines sequence of operation and/or installation and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs complex electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems involving electrical and mechanical work of a broad nature.
  • Performs preventative maintenance required to maintain company buildings, equipment, grounds, and machinery.
  • Work from sketches, blueprints, diagrams, written and verbal instructions.
  • May direct the work assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Installs, maintains (PM), electrical power system for all plant and plant machinery
  • Performs troubleshooting of variable speed drives and integrated drives systems, including VFD, PLC.
  • Make modifications to equipment’s power and control circuits for equipment upgrade or production changes.
  • Make recommendations to supervisor in matters of safety and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform all duties with company property and safety of employees considered.
  • Perform failure analysis on electrical components and develop corrective actions.
  • May check electrical work performed by other electricians to assure accuracy and safety.
  • Use a wide variety of measuring devices, including DVM, scopes, frequency counters, etc.
  • Fabricates elements of equipment for installation or for additional machining operations.
  • Maintains proper housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
  • Operates with limited supervision; receives some instruction on daily work and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Interaction involves obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function /department or items of a sensitive nature.
  • May direct work of others.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What your background should look like:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience as an industrial/manufacturing electrician or Preventive Mainentance.
  • VFD / PLC knowledge preferred.
  • Open to training and apprentice.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $56,100 – $84,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
