JOB OVERVIEW

TE Connectivity is looking for a dynamic, charismatic Foresight Senior Manager to join the Marketing Center of Excellence team and play an important and high visibility role in driving marketing’s digital transformation concerning Foresight. This role will be responsible for overarching foresight for marketing strategy and its implementation: Defining vision, mission, and roadmap to capture incremental growth by defining the future customer, market and channel landscape. He/She will translate insights into actionable recommendations and drive automation in line with the overarching digital transformation strategy.

The Foresight Senior Manager will have prior experience overseeing complex and multi-string programs from initial concept through execution. The successful candidate is innovative and detail oriented, with deep experience with multiple foresight frameworks including DRIVE, Scenario planning, market forecasting and passion to drive change within a large organization. He/she provides strategic vision while capturing sponsor and stakeholder needs, documenting action items, and ensuring follow-up while identifying priorities to meet deadlines. The Foresight Senior Manager is eager to learn and quick to apply knowledge in a dynamic environment. This person must be a team player with demonstrated experience working with senior executives and ability to build partnerships and influence at various levels across the organization.

The Foresight Senior Manager will join the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE), reporting to the Marketing Director, Data, Analytics & Insights, in a fully remote work environment.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Foresight Senior Manager will join the Marketing Center of Excellence (COE), reporting to the Marketing Director, Data, Analytics & Insights, in a fully remote work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Strategy:

  • Create vision, strategy and roadmap for marketing foresight as part of the Data, Analytics & Insights Center of Excellence (COE) including capabilities and operating model
  • Own strategic customer and marketing analytics maturity roadmap for foresight in support of current and future BU needs and strategies
  • Partner with leaders to define and continuously evolve marketing, customer, and business strategy, interacting with key leaders on complex issues, guiding stakeholders in understanding and communicating future customer and market scenarios and its impact on business results

Execution:

  • Design and deliver foresight analytics and insights that enable data-driven decision making across our eleven business units at strategic level
  • Conduct complex large scale analysis across various domains, including understanding business goals and strategy, formulating analytical approaches, performing data extraction and exploration and translating results into actionable insights
  • Partner cross-functionally to envision, design and deliver next generation data-enabled capabilities and experiences

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • BA in economics, foresight, marketing, Computer-Science or equivalent
  • 10+ years of foresight and digital capability development experience in highly innovative, digitalized companies
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing foresight program for marketing and delivering adoption across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to create shared vision, inspire collaboration and drive change with momentum. Able to influence and align thinking across businesses and teams
  • Deep technical knowledge in prescriptive, predictive and behavioral analytics
  • Experience enabling organizations with advanced data-driven capabilities such as DRIVE, scenario planning, forecasting, whitespace analytics, back casting, weak signals & wild cards, horizon scanning
  • Effective communicator: A track record of presenting insights and related high priority topics to executives and peers. Comfortable with public speaking and facilitating large group sessions
  • Clear communicator with ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex concepts
  • Excellent collaboration skills working with internal and external stakeholders and across both business and technical teams
  • High degree of personal integrity; culturally sensitive & empathetic

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $126,200 – $189,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
