Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.
Greensboro Plant Administrative Assistant Job Description:
Point of contact for all site visitors, including:
- Maintain visitor Calendar including purpose, site contacts, dates & times
- Book / reserve conference rooms, be the owner for conference rooms
- Ordering / arranging meals for visitors, use their TE card if possible
- Alerting visitors to safety, PPE & COVID requirements & any TE travel requirements
- Send Safety message to all visitors prior to visit
- Arranging tours
- Creating tour routes and arranging tour guides availability
- Maintaining all tour items (headsets, televisions)
Site Communications Champion:
- Be responsible to update communication boards in cafeteria, break areas, plating
- Have access to GSO site email address & send any needed communications
- Maintain monthly workplace anniversary celebration
- Send letters, buy cake / cupcakes, arrange quantities
- Be responsible for town hall logistics / planning & support content w/ plant manager
- Maintaining the digital signage system for visitors in the lobby, in cafeteria & on floor & adding content
- Responsible for supporting marketing team initiatives & abiding by TE’s brand guidelines
- Maintain monthly budget (approx. $2,000) for site engagement- place all orders and come up with strategy for engagement
- Responsible for purchasing necessary site supplies & maintaining inventory levels, using our sites cost council process for approvals
- Own sites purchasing cards Use Concur expense system to submit all expenses
- Use SAP to place PR’s / PO’s
- RS Hughes Black Cabinets (PPE on Floor)
- Office supplies Kanban
- Other safety items for site operations
- Be responsible for monthly budget / costs
- Drive savings (cost reduction activities on prices) 10% year over year
- Implement effective Kanban system for replenishment
- Responsible for support of delivering mail / packages to employees, coordination with shipping / receiving dock, create shipping labels for laptops / equipment and other items as needed

Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, TEAMS), Adobe a bonus
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Creativity- the ability to create flyers, communications & event planning
- Attention to detail & problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Self-starter who is interested in growth and development
- Bachelor’s degree OR High School degree with 5+ years work experience

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $59400-89000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
