Job Overview
The product marketing manager will own the global processes related to the product marketing function within the Appliances business unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for new product development launches, legacy product promotions, and executing product campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive demand, enable sales, provide customer insights, and deliver sales of new products. This role collaborates closely with product management, engineering, sales, business development, channel partners along with cross-functional teams within TE to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on product campaign performance and making recommendations to improve both the product offering itself and related marketing and messaging.
- Leading cross-functional teams in the development of go-to-market strategies and plans designed to drive KPIs.
- Analyzing sales and industry data to identify potential opportunities and issues.
- Managing the product launch process, ensuring new products are sales ready, both for direct and distribution customers.

- Marketing Channels: Knowledge of marketing options and opportunities; ability to advertise an organization's products, services and brand through various channels.
- Marketing Function: Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the marketing function or department; ability to execute effective marketing plans and strategies.
- Marketing Strategy and Positioning: Knowledge of market research, segmentation, and channels; ability to use business models to develop and implement marketing strategies, objectives, and tactics as well as establishing a communications plan.
- Marketing Campaigns: Knowledge of marketing campaign types, plans, strategies, and tools; ability to use this knowledge to design and launch effective marketing campaigns.
- Marketing Techniques: Knowledge of marketing techniques that generate opportunities to bring new business or increase a firm's visibility and reputation; ability to use marketing techniques to entice customers to purchase new or enhanced services or products.
- Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
- Create a Strong Culture Built on Trust: Knowledge of building inclusive relationships with empathy to drive collaboration and engagement; ability to foster an environment of inclusivity and reliability among team members.

What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
- Expert knowledge in product marketing and crafting clear and compelling value propositions for technical products
- 10+ years of progressive professional experience, including people management and demonstrated ability to produce effective communications and campaigns
- Ability to influence internal business partners with whom no direct reporting relationship exists
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

COMPENSATION
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $129,120-193,680 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
