TE Connectivity’s Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.

Short Description

Design, develop and deploy User Analytics Content (Reports, Dashboards and Publications) via SAP Business Intelligence (BI) product suite namely SAP Lumira, SAP Business Objects (BOBJ), SAP HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Translate Business requirements and analysis into SAP Business Objects Reports and SAP Lumira Dashboards. Design and development of single, multi-variant universes on SAP’s proprietary in-memory database SAP HANA Analytic and Calculation views using SAP Information Design Tool (SAP BOBJ 4.x). Responsible for creating the BO reports (On demand, Ad-hoc Reports, Summary Reports, Sub Reports, Dynamic grouping, Cross-Tabs and Graphical Reports). Create Agile and Self-service Data Visualizations using SAP Xcelsius, SAP Lumira, Power BI, and Tableau. Automate BO Report Scheduling using BO Broadcast Agent and customized document scheduling and distribution using Publications Wizard and SAP BI Launch Pad. Automate document Scheduling, Publishing and Distribution for SAP Web Intelligence Reports and Info views. Involve in User meetings to present Dashboard Development changes on weekly basis in Agile Development methodology. Actively participate in code reviews, release planning, day-to-day status meetings and production deployment activities. Work with Business Managers to identify where Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics can be applied in supporting global business objectives and to understand requirements, source systems, and perform data analysis. Maintain and foster collaborative efforts with all integrated business functions and the TEIS team to identify, establish, and share best practices. Involve in User meetings to gather Requirements and present Dashboard Development changes on weekly basis in Agile Development methodology. Actively participate in code reviews, release planning, day-to-day status meetings and production deployment activities. Work with Business Managers to identify where Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics can be applied in supporting global business objectives and to understand requirements, source systems, and perform data analysis. Develop proof of concepts to showcase BI tool functionality to the end users and management audience including report and dashboards. Define standards and best practices for installing, configuring, and using business intelligence applications. Interact with Business Users right from the requirements phase to delivery and post go-live assistance of the application. Interact with client about the daily status of the project related activities. Provide Knowledge transfer, training and support on technologies and applications, including but not limited to designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting. Involve in unit testing, regression testing and performance testing and tuning of SAP Dashboards, Reports and Universes. Active role in streamlining the processes of SAP BO/BI solutions development and deployment. Actively participate in code reviews, release planning, day-to-day status meetings and production deployment activities. Conduct Training sessions and working sessions in TEIS. Share the best practices and latest industry leading tools/technologies with the team. Demonstrate and document POVs, POCs and share the results/knowledge with end users and internal teams. What your background should look like:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, data science, data analytics, interactive media, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.

Special Requirements: Requires 5 years of experience with the following:

1. Building data visualizations using B.I. tools for complex use cases for large enterprise-wide user base (BOBJ, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
2. Project intake and project management.
3. Working within Agile methodology and using corresponding tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.).
4. Data modeling/database.
5. Data Science.
