The Opportunity
As Senior Finance Manager, you’ll act as a senior finance business partner for the North American Sales Organization. The role will be influential in driving business decisions and operational outcomes by providing commercial and financial insights to the Afterpay functions with direct responsibility for supporting top-line growth.

-Partnering directly with senior leaders on the Sales team
-Be the voice of finance to our business partners
-Provide ongoing insights and analysis of business trends and performance
-Identify and assess underlying trends, opportunities, and risks and develop actionable recommendations
-Lead deal analysis and partnering with the Sales team to structure deals
-Lead and conduct analysis to enable data-driven decisions that optimize business performance
-Use financial analysis and modeling skills to develop creative solutions to complex business challenges
-Play a key role in the annual budgeting and planning processes
-Develop robust business cases, profitability assessments, pipeline analysis, and sales forecasts
-Work with the broader finance team to ensure best practice processes and policies are in place, and to ensure compliance

You’ll have experience in and be passionate about:
-Using strong commercial acumen, critical thinking, and analytical skills to drive business outcomes
-Leveraging your proven ability as an effective and collaborative business partner, with an exceptional ability to influence senior leaders and business partners
-Synthesizing complex financial information and ideas and communicating in ways others can easily understand
-Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
-Detail oriented and driven to do the right things
-Bringing 7+ years experience in forecasting, financial analysis, and partnering with Sales organizations; investment banking, consulting or private equity
