The Opportunity
This role is a Finance Business Partner to the North America regional team. The role will be influential in driving the strategic planning process and operational outcomes through providing commercial and financial insights and decision support. This individual will analyze US regional performance and communicate insights and recommendations to finance and business leadership. Areas of focus may include the Small and Medium Business segment and our growing instore and omnichannel business.
What You’ll Do
- Drive financial analysis to support business partners in managing financial performance
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and actionable management reporting for areas of focus
- Prepare financial models and scenario analysis to support decision making on customers, merchants, and pricing
- Identify key market trends, changing customer requirements and competitor activity and make recommendations
- Work with business leaders to develop robust business cases and profitability assessments
- Partner with North America leaders to manage expense to annual budget and quarterly forecast commitments
- Develop, automate, and produce management reports; support the FP&A team with insights into weekly and monthly reporting
- Partner with the broader finance team to ensure best practice reporting and analysis processes are in place
Who You Are
- 5+ years of professional experience including at least 3 years’ experience as a finance business partner, and/or in an analyst role in either an investment bank or management consulting firm
- Experience partnering with sales and/or marketing org strongly preferred
- Advanced modeling skills and corporate modeling experience
- Experience in forecasting, financial analysis and understanding key performance indicators
- Experience with data analytics software such as Tableau, SQL a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics or related business/quantitative field
- MBA strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills, detail oriented, can work in flexible environments
- Enjoys being adaptable and hands on
