We are looking for Manager / Lead level data gurus to join the Global Marketing Analytics team. The Global Marketing Analytics team measures marketing performance and informs decisions that accelerate growth. This is a great opportunity for someone from a data engineering, BI, data science or data analytics background who has experience in cloud infrastructure and wants to build their career within a fast-growing, global company.

You will be leveraging Afterpay’s rich data set to automate marketing measurement and propel the growth of our business. This will include scoping, developing, implementing and maintaining processes that enable experimentation and attribution at scale. You’ll be required to procure, process and provide data from a myriad of sources, and write clear, well-structured, and performant code. As a leader, you will coach junior team members to grow their technical and organizational skills.

You love data and get excited talking about data, analytics, experimentation and AI/ML.
You have 5+ years hands-on experience working with data.
You have 3+ years experience leading data teams.
You have excellent data engineering and manipulation skills (SQL, Python, Spark, ETL, data pipelines, etc.).
You have a strong understanding of data concepts like Data Lake, data warehousing, ingestion patterns.
Experience in Cloud infrastructure, AWS/Azure/GCP.
Experience with Git/Jenkins, JIRA.

Bonus points for:
Understanding of experimentation and marketing fundamentals
Background in distributed data processing
Experience with Apache Airflow/Luigi/Azkaban
Data Engineering/Dev-Ops background
