In this role, you will be responsible for input into global programs and ensuring the delivery and execution of those programs.

The ideal candidate is a high energy individual with hands-on, partner-facing expertise and who understands, and has experience in supporting, the various sales and marketing roles in a diverse partner ecosystem consisting of Systems Integrators, Solution Providers, Resellers, Distributors, MSPs and CSPs. Responsibilities consist of, but aren’t limited to, content creation, delivery, and working cross-functionally to accelerate effective time to knowledge and execution.

As the Sales and Marketing Lead you are passionate about, and have a deep understanding of, the partner ecosystem and its various sales needs and marketing rhythms. Working with alliance leadership, you will be responsible for developing and executing coordinated, multidisciplinary programs driving awareness of, and alignment to, Okta’s evolving Sales and Marketing strategy and efforts to the diverse members of our ecosystem. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with our Alliance Team, Marketing and the Sales Enablement Team on both internal and external initiatives. Quality, on time deliverables, and unwavering focus on partner success, internally and externally, are of paramount importance to succeed in this position.

This individual will be responsible for owning Sales and Marketing Enablement for our partners as well as developing and tracking key metrics for success. Some key metrics will be partner driven demand generation to create pipeline, drive revenue to facilitate a drive towards self-sufficiency with Okta’s robust ecosystem while integrating partner messaging into Okta’s internal enablement efforts. This individual will be responsible for the administration of multiple programs and help drive reporting, content analysis, content alignment and refresh cycles as well as supporting partner program initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a Partner Sales and Marketing Enablement Program for multiple sales and marketing roles for various partner types
  • Responsible for contributing to, and coordination of, enablement content supporting these programs
  • Work with alliance and enablement leaders to define goals and success metrics
  • Benchmark, track, and report on metrics using these insights to improve programs
  • Understand Okta’s broader enablement efforts to leverage and extend to the partner community
  • Integrate “Value of Partner Ecosystem” into Okta’s internal enablement efforts

What We Look In This Role:

  • Understanding of, and the ability to communicate the importance of, all things Okta to the Sales and Marketing leads within the partner ecosystem
  • Understanding of, and the ability to communicate the importance of, the partner ecosystem to internal Okta audience
  • 2-5 Years’ experience in Partner Enablement
  • Experience in delivering ILT or vILT classroom management
  • Senior Sales and/or Marketing experience as either an individual contributor on manager
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Highly motivated, self-starter attitude
  • Project management skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks.
  • Excellent critical thinking and great at problem solving (finding solutions)
  • Diplomacy, integrity, and presence that enables you to work effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment; tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to “just get it done”
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
