The Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to build experiences to accelerate SMB merchant growth at Afterpay.

Over 100,000 merchants have already signed up with Afterpay - this role will help define product experiences to unlock Afterpay’s next wave of merchant growth in new and existing regions.

The Product Manager will partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, sales, and operational teams to construct new product features to maximize merchant sign-ups and activations.

Responsibilities

-Lead ideation, design, and technical development of features that will empower merchants to onboard and activate Afterpay
-Define the product strategy and roadmap around the merchant onboarding experience
-Collaborate closely with design to pilot new user interfaces and experiences
-Launch A/B testing programs to optimize landing pages and other high-leverage experiences
-Work with analytics teams to ensure that we have proper end-to-end instrumentation to measure and improve experiences
-Work with merchant-facing teams to identity core pain points faced by our merchants
-Prioritize key initiatives and define success measures to drive merchant growth across regions
-Partner with cross-functional teams to implement features that support ongoing business priorities
-Write great user stories and product requirements documents to guide development teams
-Create and manage product roadmaps and backlog
-Work with dev leads on planning and sprint process

Minimum Qualifications
-BS or BA
-2 years of product management experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to build relationships at all levels across the company and really learn what drives the business

Preferred Qualifications
-Familiarity with conversion funnels and growth product management
-Experience leading and working with geographically dispersed teams
-Be brave. Be curious. Be cool. Be humble. A sense of humor, a willingness to laugh at danger and an appreciation of the ironic are all pluses
