Your new role
In this role you will support the Head of Enterprise Risk and Compliance with discrete assignments related to implementation of the Fund's new Enterprise Risk management framework.
You will also work closely with the Senior Managers Technology and Trustee Services Advisory to provide advice, challenge and monitoring on risk management practices across these areas of AustralianSuper's business to embed the ERMF, including working closely with First Line Risk colleagues to assist them to identify, assess and manage risks, within the context of the AustralianSuper Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement.
This role is a contract position through to the end of 2021.
What you'll need
- Proven Superannuation Risk advisory experience, preferably gained in a Financial Services organisation
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence
- Preferred experience in dealing with APRA, ASIC and other financial services regulators
- Strong ability to write with effect, particularly in relation to creating reports and updating risk framework documents
- Strong understanding of control design and operating effectiveness
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and investigative skills
- Experience in building sound risk awareness amongst colleagues by providing ongoing support and training
- Demonstrated ability to respectfully challenge, deal with conflict and stand their ground where required
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills that reflects a professional, collegiate and engaging approach
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage the range of tasks required of this role
