As a Senior Manager Strategic Initiatives working with the Head of Strategy, you will drive multiple cross-functional initiatives– tackling problems across the business unit and driving both strategic and operational alignment to help our organization realize its objectives. This role will work extensively with leaders from each of our functional teams; we need someone who can clearly communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, lead strategic projects that drive transformational changes for our partners and customers as well drive process implementation and change at scale. You will be responsible for strategic projects that drive transformational change for our traveler-facing Brands. This includes defining objectives and priorities and understanding and evaluating ongoing business performance.

What you'll do:
Drive multiple cross-functional initiatives to drive both strategic and operational alignment and action
Enable results through the effective implementation and management key projects for Expedia Traveler teams
Support the annual planning process and operationalize the plan by working with internal and external partners by gaining their alignment and support
Work directly with senior leadership across Expedia Group to drive decision-making and alignment
Define a structure approach to problem solving
Independently identify and frame opportunities in a structured, data-driven way to clearly communicate options, risks, trade-offs
Act as a change agent for ongoing innovations and efficiencies
Collaborate cross functionally to inspire change in the business by identifying and implementing the best ways of working across the organization
Who You Are:
8+ years of experience in strategy and project execution
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; Master’s degree preferred
Ability to balance strategic thinking with a bias for action on execution of end-to-end deliverables
Can lead, run & mobilize multiple stakeholders (including top executives) and balance multiple demands in a multifaceted fast-paced environment
Ambitious, self-aware, and high-ownership mindset
Excellent problem solver with ability to synthesize and present complex concepts to both executive leadership and operational teams
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
