 We acknowledge there is still much to do but we are working towards breaking down occupational segregation and gender bias in our industry:

  • We are proud members of the Champions of Change Coalition which is a globally recognised initiative driving women in leadership and building respectful and inclusive workplaces.
  • In 2020, the promotion of women at Knight Frank Australia was at an equal level to males.
  • At the top of our policy agenda is preventing and responding to sexual harassment and addressing domestic and family violence as a workplace issue.

We are not shy to lead industry change, think differently and challenge the status quo. By the end of financial year 2021 our goal was to increase female representation in leadership positions by 5% and ensure we have initiatives and strategies to support pay equality. Looking longer term, we have a goal of 50:50 gender representation at all leadership levels by 2023.

Recognising the Importance of our First Peoples 

We are focused on building a workplace which celebrates all Australian society by creating employment opportunities for people with Indigenous backgrounds.

We are committed to understanding, supporting and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and Culture and the contributions they have made to our country. The development of our Reconciliation Action Plan is the beginning of our journey to make this happen.

We work closely with CareerTrackers supporting Indigenous students by offering summer and winter holiday placements in paid roles. In 2020 we welcomed our first two Indigenous students through CareerTrackers, allowing them to embrace their passion for property and kickstart their careers in the industry.  

We’re actively searching for partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in every State and are proud to already support several Indigenous events and organisations in NSW and WA. We’re looking forward to continuing to build on this progress in the future.
