About the role

Our ideal Principal Strategic Solutions Marketing Manager- ITSM will be a highly motivated, results-driven individual who will be responsible for developing the overall marketing strategy and demand generation for the ITSM practice. The ITSM practice fits firmly within our 5 key areas of focus within The Adaptavist Group: Agile, DevOps, ITSM, Cloud and Work Management.

With a depth of expertise and knowledge within the field of ITSM, its principles and technologies, you’ll be able to capture and create demand thus generating pipeline and growth for The Adaptavist Group through creating, delivering and managing best-in-class marketing strategies, programs and plans, with a focus on full-funnel brand awareness and lead generation activities.

What you'll be doing

- Clearly demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the ITSM (IT Service Management) landscape in which you operate - this includes, but is not limited to, great knowledge of the market and its trends, our partners and its market, competitive and technology landscape. You’ll regularly share and drive your knowledge internally and externally.
- Driving compelling customer value proposition creation from a strong customer awareness. You’ll regularly talk to customers, customer representatives and potential customers to understand and verify their pain points and needs. - You will collaborate and work closely with different teams across marketing, different lines of business and departments to understand our capabilities and solutions we could offer.
- Lead on messaging / thought leadership initiatives / PR / media outreach - playing a key role in the creation and narration of the [practice] story both internally and externally
- Work with subject matter experts and collaborate with multiple teams and agencies to develop and implement first-class content strategy around thought leadership and other related compelling content that drives brand awareness and conversions
- Understand the needs for enablement within the business, not just focused on the sales team but more broadly across the organisation too. Lead the creation of the right content to satisfy those needs and be able to deliver that content at the right time for enablement to be successful.
- Lead and support the development and management of collaborative marketing programs and GTM strategies with partners along with internal stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. This includes but not limited to joint communication proposition (eg. announcements, company updates, etc), content development (e.g. blogs, case studies), and partner-related offline/online events
- Work across the practice including partner technologies and regional requirements to create marketing plans to drive awareness, demand, and build new pipeline within the practice.
- Analyse market research and intelligence data, and apply insights to develop and execute a solid, customer- and practice-focused marketing strategy
- Lead, manage, and administer the development of all marketing campaign kits relating to the practice whilst closely collaborating with regional and all other teams for successful activation and outcomes which will include integrated multi-channel campaigns, strategic online and offline events, partner marketing, digital, media/PR relations, etc.
- Ownership of key metrics and achievements globally to understand the impact being created and address necessary corrective and improvement actions.
-Marketing budget ownership and management for practice as part of regular planning cycles
- Leadership and mentoring the team to ensure positive outcomes across the marketing strategy
- Bring your expertise and influence to teams outside of your immediate team, across the marketing and partner team and to the wider business through mentoring.


What we're looking for

- Extensive B2B marketing leadership experience, preferably in Tech industry, across a broad range of multi-channel, integrated marketing
- Expert experience in partner marketing; proven experience in building out messaging for various technologies and partnerships
- Exceptionally good at understanding the needs and expectations of customers from solutions perspective
- Must have In-depth knowledge of the ITSM (IT service management) and its market.
- Knowledge of the Atlassian partner ecosystem or similar technology partner ecosystems is a must.
- Confident and self-assured communicator - a strong leader of people.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Experience of managing multiple projects with attention to detail but also an ability to think innovatively and creatively
- A strategic thinker, who is able to connect the dots with sound judgement in a fast paced and complex environment but also work with the necessary operational/executional thinking
- Data-led, a strong handle of marketing metrics and a high level of understanding web analytics/tracking/reporting..
- Self-starting, strongly ambitious and tenacious: willing to go the extra mile
- Confident when operating in an ambiguous environment
- Willing and able to travel internationally when required
