Global Marketing Analyst Relations Manager

The Analyst Relations manager plays a key role in partnering with the business to position Avanade as the leading Microsoft solutions provider, globally, across the analysts/analyst and third-party advisory firms that matter most to our business.
Through continual engagement with tier 1, 2 and niche analyst firms, the purpose of the role is to nurture and build strong, positive relationships with analysts through briefings, inquiries, rated/non-rated report participation and other events/forums that showcase our unrivalled expertise and experience.
Internally, the role’s purpose is to be a trusted guide and mentor to the business, championing analyst and third-party advisor engagement and providing insight and expertise to enable Avanade’s leaders to share content in the most impactful way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Marketing and business leads across the organization to develop and manage targeted tier 1 analyst engagement through briefings, inquiries and research report participation
- Identify, track and maintain a calendar of relevant tier 1 rated research reports, and working with marketing and business leads to evaluate qualification
- Lead on coordination/completion of rated reports
- Identify relevant tier 2/3/niche analyst firms globally (and locally) to establish and develop relationships
- Manage commercial relationships with key analyst firms
- Identify, establish and develop relationships with key third-party advisor firms
- Collaborate and coordinate with Accenture and Microsoft AR teams to deliver joint briefings to target analysts, and participate jointly in relevant rated reports
- Work with internal marketing stakeholders to develop and deliver targeted AR programs across LoB, industry-specific, Advisory and corporate areas of the business
- Educate business stakeholders on the value and impact of analyst relations to their specialist areas, and Avanade as a whole
- Managing the timetable of future rated and unrated analyst reports and working with marketing and business stakeholder to determine Avanade participation.
- Own the analyst engagement tracking process
- Internal sharing/amplification of analyst reports/content
- External amplification of analyst report/content
- Identifying and implement new ways to engage with analysts directly and indirectly (e.g. through social media channels)
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years analyst relations experience, preferably in IT/Services industry
- Ability to juggle multiple programs/projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in pressurized situations and deliver under tight timelines
- Strong project/program management
- Senior stakeholder management
- Working in a global organization
- Responsive, collaborative, and hands-on team player
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Collaborative approach, working in partnership with campaign marketing and area marketing team.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations and ability to problem-solve
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Office
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline
