Avionics Senior Supervisor
We currently have a vacancy for an Avionics Senior Supervisor at our Oman site; this role will be fixed term until June 2022
As an Avionics Senior Supervisor you will be responsible to the Rects Controller for managing the prioritisation and execution of all Avionics tasks within the scope of his team. You will manage the avionics manpower working within his team.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to carry out and specify the extent of any independent inspections within the scope of his trade boundaries.
Your main responsibilities as an Avionics Senior Supervisor will involve:
The Avionics Senior Supervisor is responsible to the Principal Engineer Depth On-Aircraft Operations, through the Avionics Superintendent for:
Ensuring all maintenance activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems.
Co-ordinate Flight Line Servicing and associated activities
Provide support and guidance, including allocation of tasks to appropriately authorised maintenance technicians
Perform independent or stage checks
Compile appropriate reporting, identification of any issues, resolving and escalating as appropriate to ensure the maintenance servicing remains on schedule
Provide effective leadership and supervision to team members under your direct supervision
Analyse and update the Portable Maintenance Data Store (PMDS), Bulk Storage Device (BSD) and Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU)
Provide OJT aligned to the role training specification to RAFO candidate. Including Mentoring of RAFO Personnel on a one to one basis. Compiling evidence for Subordinates to develop and complete OJT. Completing Logbooks and evaluating tasks carried out by RAFO candidates in order to achieve 1st and 2nd sig.
Liaise with various agencies throughout the contract to meet objectives. Responsible for Demanding/Returning A/C components to supply chain. Communicating with Depth on upcoming Maintenance activities
Your skills and qualifications:
HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience
Typhoon Q Qualified
Understanding of the ESS aircraft documentation system
Knowledge of Human Factors is beneficial
Experience working in the Middle East would be an advantage
Experience of working within an EASA Part 145 environment is desirable
Experience of supervising maintenance activities ideally within a Pt 145 regulatory
