Supply Chain Material Manager (GFE)
Would you like to be an integral part of the BAE Material Management business? If so, We have a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Material Manager to join our site in Barrow.
As Supply Chain Material Manager you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Material Management activities relating to receipt, handling, care and protection.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to deliver to point and use and contractual asset accounting of all Government Furnished Equipment.
Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Material Manager
Responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of all your employees and that your area operates in accordance with Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Maintenance of GFE Material management plan
Maintenance and development of GFE/Public Stores Account processes
Development and reporting of GFE/Public Stores Account Performance measures
Regular reviews / PSA quarterly reports / audits planned & scheduled with relevant stakeholders throughout the year.
Completion of mandated annual GFE physical stock check & required certification
Sub-contractor management/returns/repairs for non-self-accounting suppliers
Ensure adherence to all Logistics processes (receipt, store, maintain, kit and dispatch) both physical and within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Your skills and qualifications:
Functional and working knowledge of Material Management/Logistics and Projects
Inventory Management experience in a similar role
Experience of leading and developing team across multiple locations
Change Management
Lean Improvement experience
Capability and Resource Management (Desirable)
ERP or MRP systems (Desirable)

Salary: Dependent on experience
