Job Title: Senior/Principal Systems Engineer - Process and Governance

What you’ll be doing:
- Developing, deploying and governing engineering process across a broad group of multi-disciplinary
- Tailoring, documenting and communicating variants of product development lifecycles to meet the specific needs of programmes and systems of systems
- Providing engineering governance across multiple delivery programmes
- Supporting non-engineering stakeholders in a complex engineering development environment
- Providing leadership, guidance and coaching to other engineers
- Steering new systems development through implementation of best practice systems lifecycle processes
- Working with customers to support delivered systems and resolve issues
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent experience) in relevant STEM subject (Engineering/ Physics/ Maths/ Science).
- Significant experience in complex systems development across multiple lifecycle phases.
- Understanding of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
Experience undertaking other Systems Engineering activities. This should include some combination of:
- Requirements Engineering and Management
- Systems Architecting via Model Based Systems Engineering (UML, SysML etc)
- Systems Integration, Verification and Validation
- Defining and managing System interfaces
