Job title: Air - Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £52,886 (dependent on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting all integration activities through the Engineering Lifecycle, integrating all technical activities across projects
- Scoping technical requirements for Support, ensuring that they are clearly set and understood
- Managing stakeholder interfaces, across multiple teams and working with our UK Customer
- Coordinating engineering reviews for your projects in accordance with the IEEE Standard for Technical Reviews and Audits on defence programmes
- Planning all Engineering activities, including the management of plans for the projects you are responsible for
- Supporting new business and change activities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential skills:
- You will have a minimum of an HNC or HND (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM discipline
- Experience of working within a Product Development and/or Product Support environment
- Good understanding of the engineering lifecycle, with the ability to decompose support requirements through to the delivery of an integrated support solution
- Experience of writing technical documents and reports
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of the Eurofighter Typhoon platform would be highly desirable
- Experience having managed technical programmes through to delivery
- Knowledge and experience of aircraft support
- Experience of working within an Integrated Logistic Support environment

The UK Support Programme team:
You will technically manage Support projects, integrating the output from multiple Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines to meet customer requirements. This includes major capability programmes, standalone changes, and support solution improvements. You will support the UK Customer with responsibilities for delivery of a qualified, Integrated Support Capability in line with delivery programmes.
This role will involve all aspects of the engineering lifecycle ensuring requirements are clearly set; integrated solutions are developed and qualified. You will be working across multiple projects across varying stages of maturity where no two days are the same.
