Job title: Wireless Communications (Radio Access Network Systems) Engineer

Location: Barrow-In-Furness, Filton, Ash Vale, Broad Oak and Weymouth

Salary: Competitive

What you’ll be doing:

  • Produce Design Documentation Set, technical justifications and specifications as normally associated with RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect responsibilities
  • Ensure reviews and deliverables for Contracts meet requirements and standards
  • Produce test specifications supporting Design, Development & Qualification Contracts
  • Support to Test and Commissioning Teams and Build activities
  • Support ICPDS Project Team in the successful delivery of Radio Access Network Systems

Your skills and experiences:

  • Technical Knowledge of Telecommunications (Voice & Data Technologies)
  • Technical Knowledge of Radio VHF/UHF minimum
  • Technical Knowledge of Trunked Radio Systems for example TETRA/P25/PMR/DMR/MPT1327
  • Fault Diagnosis, Maintenance and Repair of Radio Systems, Equipment and Radio Access Networks
  • RAN (Radio Access Network) Solution Architect experience
  • Radio Network Planning experience

You will be a team player, possess the ability to self-motivate along with driving inspiration. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills. Along with good stakeholder management and relationship building abilities. The successful candidate will be confident in writing Technical Documents and translating them to other Subject Matter Experts.
