Crypto Custodian:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Crypto Custodian at our site in Frimley, Surrey.
As a Crypto Custodian, you will gain responsibility for multiple security workstreams in order to protect BAE Systems, it’s people, infrastructure, information and assets. You will be tasked to develops and maintain relationships with stakeholders (including the MoD) to meet their requirements, including one to one liaison, setting expectations, interacting effectively and confidently with the Business Customers and Security Management.
This role on offer, the successful candidate will be based at Frimley, but the role will involve a hybrid option of 3-4 days on site and 1-2 days at home.
Your main responsibilities as a Crypto Custodian will involve:
● Communicates security risks and issues to business managers and others and then applies and maintains specific security controls as required by organisational policy and local risk assessments
● Collects and collates evidence and key performance indicators as part of a formally conducted and planned review of activities, processes, products, or services
● Provide advice and guidance to business stakeholders on security best practice and application of Security policies and processes to ensure compliance and/or risk management facilitating delivery of business objectives
● Gather data, analyses and prepare reports or presentations to feed information back to teams/managers.
● Provide advice and guidance on the application of security as appropriate to individual programmes and or functions
● Conduct and support security risk assessments and facilitate remedial activities to improve security performance
● Benchmark and review improved ways of working within Security
● Monitor the performance of allocated staff to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and effectively
● Support the security culture by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential:
● JSP490
Desirable:
● UKNDA course
● Security qualifications from a certified body or equivalent experience
● Have a wide range of experience relating to resolving incidents and problems and spotting their trends
● Benchmarks and reviews improved ways of working within security
● Experience with MoD
