Job title: Specialist Works Service Engineer – Warton Services Lead

What you’ll be doing:
- Monitor levels of service delivery and address issues where necessary.
- Attend Contractor Operational Review meetings to agreed schedule with a standard Agenda ensuring provision of any information required and closure of actions to agreed timescale.
- Carry out regular monitoring of the Computer Maintenance Management System in relation to specific allocated portfolios through use of standard and specific screen and report access and available audit. Including daily monitoring of Work Orders raised and regular monitoring of all Work Orders with regard to correct, efficient and timeous closure (management of Work In Progress (WIP) and Age Profile).
- Conduct regular reviews of the service providers’ management systems to identify best practice options, confirm service level adherence, process effectiveness and objectives for moving the contract forward.
- Manage agreed budgets, cost variations and control mechanisms, including invoice verification and budget reporting and where appropriate compile budget submissions.
- Carry out Inspections and Audits to verify compliance, accuracy and to identify improvement opportunities.
- Review and manage all Buildings and Infrastructure SHE Incident reports (OSHENS) and ensure closure of all actions relating to I&FS Services owned incidents.
Your skills and experiences:
- Must have a technical background in Facilities related disciplines (e.g. engineering, construction, or building services) with extensive experience of managing the delivery of Facility related projects or managing Facilities Services contracts
- Customer facing role, requiring the highest level of customer service
- General project and change management techniques with a good understanding of supplier management, stakeholder management, cost management, customer relationship development and health and safety management
- IT skills needed including the use of Microsoft office suite and associated software i.e. Power point, excel, word

The Air Facilities Management team:
The I&FS Services Team supports a portfolio of Facilities Management services across Warton and Samlesbury under a One Stop Shop Contract (OSS).
This Portfolio of services includes:
- Estates Maintenance – Hard and Soft Services both Planned and Reactive (Including input into IBP/Capital/Major Projects)
- Cleaning
- Catering and Vending
- Car Park Administration
- Central Registry (Post)
These Services are delivered through a term contracted Service Provider (Mitie) and managed by BAE personnel through the Front Of Office (FOO, customer facing delivery) and Back Of Office (BOO, management, governance) roles.
The role of the Warton Site Services lead is to Act as the primary interface with the business and the service provider for all aspects of the service provision and all other site related issues at Warton Site alongside providing absence cover for Samlesbury site.
