Job Title: Ground Crew

Location: Warton

Salary: £27,000 DOE

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the Safety Culture and Safety Management System
• Servicing aircraft water & toilet
• Cleaning of the aeroplane, both internally and externally
• Marshalling and ground handing
• Transportation of Air Crew
• Ground Power Unit, Ground Equipment and Aircraft towing
• Handling baggage and Freight
• Driving catering and baggage handling vehicles
• Loading / unloading catering
• De-icing aircraft
• Working at heights – Use of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms
• Ground equipment monitoring, maintenance & inspection
• Handling of Dangerous Goods

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

• Previous experience in aircraft marshalling, baggage loading, freight loading, aircraft servicing (cleaning the interior and exterior of the aircraft)
• Ability to recognise and address any issues that may arise with a professional manner
• Ability to implement positively new ideas proposed by others, suggesting adaptations where this will lead to further improvements

Desirable

• Previous experience of Manual handling, baggage and freight handling, steps and ground equipment
• Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
