Job Title: Ground Crew
Location: Warton
Salary: £27,000 DOE
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the Safety Culture and Safety Management System
- Servicing aircraft water & toilet
- Cleaning of the aeroplane, both internally and externally
- Marshalling and ground handing
- Transportation of Air Crew
- Ground Power Unit, Ground Equipment and Aircraft towing
- Handling baggage and Freight
- Driving catering and baggage handling vehicles
- Loading / unloading catering
- De-icing aircraft
- Working at heights – Use of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms
- Ground equipment monitoring, maintenance & inspection
- Handling of Dangerous Goods
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Previous experience in aircraft marshalling, baggage loading, freight loading, aircraft servicing (cleaning the interior and exterior of the aircraft)
- Ability to recognise and address any issues that may arise with a professional manner
- Ability to implement positively new ideas proposed by others, suggesting adaptations where this will lead to further improvements
Desirable
- Previous experience of Manual handling, baggage and freight handling, steps and ground equipment
- Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
