Job title: ER Case Management Advisor

Salary: £40,000+ depending on experience
Duration: 12-month Fixed Term Contract
What you’ll be doing:
This is a specialist Employee Relations role providing advice, guidance and coaching to managers (and other key stakeholders) on a range of Employee Relations cases such as absence, investigation, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance
- Establishing effective working relationships to ensure that relevant stakeholders are engaged and informed at the appropriate stages in each case
- Responsibility for the management and prioritisation of own ER case load
- Working in partnership with other members of the Case Management Team and other key stakeholders to deliver a proactive, timely and effective Case Management Service to the Businesses, ensuring consistency and compliance to UK procedures
- Providing balanced advice that is legally compliant and in line with company policy in order to manage employment related risk
- Creating and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders who interface with the Case Management Team; including Business HR, Trade Union / Employee representatives, Occupational Health and Labour Law
- Working with other HR stakeholders to continuously strengthen line leader capability in managing employee relations issues
- Inputting and contributing where appropriate to the Case Management improvement activities and support other related projects, such as the review of case related policy/procedure
Your skills and experiences:
- Prior experience of managing a high volume of Employee Relations Cases (such as absence, investigation, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance), as well as a sound knowledge of UK Employment Law
- Experience in problem resolution, working autonomously and making decisions, as well as the ability to operate at pace and manage multiple cases
- Experience in difficult and sensitive conversations
- CIPD desirable but not essential

Working as an ER Case Management Advisor you will support multiple business areas including Shared Services, Head Office, and Land UK.
