Job Title: Senior Project Professional - Integrated Combat Systems - Astute
Location: Barrow-in-furness with hybrid options
Salary: Starting from £42,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Planning and tracking of activities/tasks across the Obsolescence function
- Production of reports to monitor performance and adherence to KPIs
- Identify process improvements and update plans / processes accordingly
- Maintain project registers in relation to Obsolescence issues and risks
- Support the development of project tools for data capture/analysis
- Attend / support Stakeholder meetings (internal and external)
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with numerous teams; at all levels
- Ability to work on various themes concurrently, handling technical data in an organised and structured manner
Desirable:
- Knowledge or understanding of obsolescence standard BS EN IEC 62402
- Experience within an Engineering environment and/or Engineering lifecycle

The Submarines team:
A medium size team operating across a number of programmes with variety of stakeholder collaboration. The scope of work spans right across the Project lifecycle and includes aspects of involvement with Engineering, Supply Chain, Change Management, Configuration Management, Planning. ILS and Commercial. Working closely with the Customer to address Obsolescence issues and risks timely in support of the main build programmes.
