Job title: Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to £50,000

What you’ll be doing:

Analysis, design, and delivery of solutions to meet programme, business and customer requirements

Design and development of secure information or communication systems

Applying engineering and architecture expertise to solve complex problems

Leading, inspiring, and developing engineering teams

Maintaining knowledge of the latest technologies and how they can be applied to complex problems

Building relationships with customers and stakeholders

Facilitating the evolution of innovative ideas, prototyping, development, and productionising

Your skills and experiences:

Experience with:

Systems Engineering and integration

Providing technical leadership of engineering teams

Understanding customer requirements (both in terms of technology need and operational context)

Cost/benefits analysis for appropriate technologies in designs, including security aspects

Ability to balance seemingly opposed views: big picture and detail; strategic and tactical; methodical and creative

Understanding of:

Information Systems and security architectures

MoD or Industry IT projects and programmes

NCSC secure design principlesand industry best practice in the design of system and security architectures

The Systems Engineering team:

Our Senior Systems Engineers provide the technical lead in the design, development and delivery of Assured Information Systems, Services and Products. They are instrumental in developing new technology roadmaps, architectures and designs required to both sustain an existing portfolio of IT cyber products, systems, and services but, and to develop new products for the future.

The Digital Intelligence team:

Customers increasingly demand information and technology solutions delivering advantage, communications, planning, operations, and cyber protection. C5ISR within Digital Intelligence is where we design and build cutting edge IT solutions for incorporation into products and services.
