Salary: Up to £40,365 dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
● Comply with SHE regulations, develop & implement continuous improvement plans based on lessons learned from site lifting operations
● Understand SHE risk awareness, and work in conjunction with SHE
● Lead & be responsible for the safe execution by the operations team in all lifting activities to the standard set out in LOLER, BS 7121 & PI SHE 12349 Control of lifting Operations
● Upload all newly produced lift plans onto Collaboration Portal and review
● Coach operators and leadership team within the operations function were required to operate within the required legal legislation
● Work in conjunction with the Head of Lifting Governance & Governance team to ensure the company remain compliant and within legal requirements
● Where opportunity for improvement is identified update & improve existing lifting processes
● Proactively lead and capture all lifting operations Learning from Experience (LFE), develop & upload to opportunities & learning in LFE database.
● Role holder will ensure compliance standards are coordinated & embedded across all Clyde sites and shifts
● Identify, develop, and share PDR development objectives to support the lifting family standards & adherence to process and policy
Your skills and experiences:
● PSE Slinger Experience/Crane Operator/Plater/Fabricator trade background - Essential
● AP Qualification - Desirable

As an Appointed Person, you will be responsible for control lifting operations in your designated working area and creating lift plans for the team, which is then passed on to the supervisor. You will also be required to create a risk assessment and method statement for each person within the team.
