Job title: IT Project Controller

Salary: £37,090 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Working with the wider joint IM&T PMO team to deliver a Project Control service to the PM leads, controlling and reporting on a wide portfolio of project from across the entire BAE Systems Air Organisation
- Supporting the development and tracking project plans/milestones & EACs
- Supporting Risks and Opportunities
- Providing support to the LCM (Life cycle management) process
- Recognising resource requirements
- Producing spend reports and ETC forecasting to complete accurate quarterly CSRs
- Monthly reporting to facilitate Programme Operational and Performance Reviews
- Supporting to EVM (earned value management) analysis
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Knowledge of Project Control toolsets i.e. Open Plan, MSP
- Effective stakeholder management skills
- Project Management Qualification or Degree or equivalent proven experience
Desirable:
- APMP or Prince2 qualification
- Experience in a similar IT Project controller role

The team:
As a Project Control Professional, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within the growing organisation of Information Management & Technology (IM&T). The PMO is responsible for Project Management governance across the IM&T portfolio, along with monitoring and updating both the schedule and financial status’ of the projects. It is important that the candidate continues to drive the PMO’s positive team ethic and encourage other team members to be flexible in order to adapt to the constant changes that arise during project life cycles.
