Job title: Teaching, Learning and Assessment Practitioner
Location: Preston

Salary: £40,000 + dependent on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for the coordination of Subject Matter Experts at our UK sites, developing comprehensive apprenticeship training plans
- Mentoring new staff, delivering staff training, understanding & supporting the wider operational activity
- Utilise & promote Digital Learning Technology to enhance and maximise our teaching and learning and delivery
- Support UK sites to embrace change through the conception, creation and implementation of innovative delivery and assessment techniques
- Support the design and delivery of CPD alongside peers
- Support the implementation of BAE Systems Approach to the Quality of Education to ensure continued outstanding apprentice and skills delivery
Your skills and experiences:
You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrable team working characteristics, be highly organised and detail conscious. You will be a strategic thinker with outstanding communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Essential
- Experience in using VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) with high proficiency, with extensive knowledge and use of digital learning and assessment tools
- Teaching, learning and assessment experience gained within a school, college or university with a sound knowledge of regulatory bodies
- Teaching qualification e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent English & Maths L2 or above
- Confident providing feedback to colleague’s, mentoring new staff and delivering training
Desirable
- Highly proficient in using a range of software to input, analyse and present data.
- Experience in working and managing multiple stakeholders when implementing change
- Passionate about improvement, and its role in delivering high quality apprentice and skills training
