Senior Defence Analysis Consultant

Location: Farnborough, Guildford or Preston

Salary: Circa £50,000 pending experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading or supporting the delivery of analysis / operational research projects to customers in either Government and/or the private sector to cost, schedule and high quality
• Applying analysis techniques to a range of complex problems with a high attention for detail
• Applying consultancy skills and toolsets to understand customers’ strategic and operational objectives, identify data and analysis requirements, and developing sustainable solutions to support decision-making
• Engaging with Internal and External stakeholders, and effectively communicating technical solutions to a non-technical audience
• Supporting capability development by coaching and mentoring junior members of the CORDA team

Your skills and experiences:

Experience in one or more of our core capabilities, which cover:

• Operational Analysis, particularly capability analysis and evaluation within the military domain
• Simulation and Modelling, including requirement capture, model design, implementation and validation & verification
• Data Insights – all aspects of data analytics, including data science and data visualisation using toolsets such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python and R
• Strategic insights – using analysis to underpin future strategies, road maps and business cases
• Defence sector experience is highly advantageous, as is a relevant degree (or experience to offset)
