What you’ll be doing:
- To be conversant with the Quality and SH&E Management Systems, specifically the processes and documentation, training, method statements & risk assessments associated with your function
- Deploy the applicable Quality Management System and SH&E documentation to your team ensuring they have both a thorough understanding of the content, risks and control measures and can ultimately demonstrate their competence to apply them
- Communicate effectively with the team, management and both internal and external customers
- Build effective internal and cross functional relationships both vertically and laterally within the business
- Effectively manage resources and activities to meet sea trials programme
- To help support and maintain the IWT structure including the encouragement and delivery of a continual improvement ethos
- Lead and develop the team to achieve their work programme, meeting all performance measures (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People)
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Managing a multi-disciplined team
- Delivering a plan to cost and schedule
- Qualifications - NVQ / HNC or relevant experience
Desirable:
- Willingness to work away from home

As a Team Leader – Pipe you will be leading a cross functional team of mixed trade employees to deliver post exit submarines sea trials work packages at HMNB CLYDE.This role provides you an opportunity with Career development opportunities exist within the role.
