Job title: Maintenex Solution Architect

Salary: £49,135 - £70,385 with potential flexibility to accommodate for niche skills/qualifications

What you’ll be doing:

• Establish and maintain the requirements and acceptance criteria for assigned Maintenance and Support Services Competency Centre system deployments, changes and incidents – focused around Maintenix

• Produce technical documentation to support successful design and delivery of the deployments, changes, updates and incidents

• Solution definition

• Support LCM Design Reviews ensuring deliverables are sufficiently mature to progress the programme with acceptable risk

• Support the IM&T team in the identification of technical risks and the resolution of technical issues and challenges

• Forge and maintain relationships with technical staff and advisors

• Prepare the technical cost and schedule estimates based on the agreed Technical Management Plan

• Work across the multiple teams that act as suppliers to the projects

• Participation in Incident / Problem management reviews, RCAs and driving actions to prevent reoccurrence

• Participation in Risks and Issues Management within the competency centre

Your skills and experiences:

• Degree in IT, Business or numerate discipline or equivalent

• Prior experience working on Complex IT or business change environments - Manufacturing or Defence preferred

• Experience of implementing and governance of software development lifecycle management

• Experience of development programmes from a technical and/or management perspective

• In depth knowledge and experience of Lifecycle Management processes and techniques for success

• Up to date knowledge of IM&T Solution development and delivery, process methods, tools and technologies

• Specialist knowledge of integration and reporting processes, methods, tools and technologies

The Team - Inventory Forecasting and Planning (IF&P) capability within the Maintenance and Support Services Competency Centre (M&SSCC)

Provide IM&T Technical Management support in delivery and sustainment of the Integrated Maintenance Service (IMS) capability within the Maintenance and Support Services Competency Centre (M&SSCC), ensuring that the overall Business and Technical solutions defined and delivered adhere to the relevant governance with appropriately defined requirements, designs and delivery plans. Working across the business utilising or looking to utilise the IMS capability, understanding current needs and issues, capturing requirements to drive the IM&T plans.
