Job title: Release Manager

Location: Preston/Farnborough, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £40k pending experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining the ‘release schedule’ within our ITSM toolset (ServiceNow) raising appropriate records for ‘Releases, Release Phases, Tasks and defects
  • Working with Project Managers ensuring appropriate deployment and regression plans are documented, tested, and signed off for each release phase
  • Providing a link into the Operational Change Process, ensuring appropriate change records are raised and approved for each release phase
  • Coordinating testing with suppliers and communication with business administrators and end users as we manage the end of life of obsolete products

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge of Release management and IT Service Management
  • ITIL qualifications desirable, training and sponsorships provided for strong candidates without
  • Working knowledge of “Service now” including use of reports and dashboards, training available
  • Appreciation of Operational change and transition management
  • Ability to produce documents using Microsoft Office and specifically reports using MS Excel
  • Good organisation and communication skills
