Job title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer – CMM Programmer

Salary: £45,326
What you’ll be doing:
- CMM Programming – using CAMIO and Legacy Software
- Inspecting all parts produced, to ensure they are to the required specification and conform to the GD&T and design intent
- Providing a high standard of technical support and production expertise as well as the development of near term and emerging technologies
- You will play a central role ensuring the delivery of projects adhere to schedules and cost whilst ensuring quality commitments to our customers are achieved
- You will be involved in all phases of the life cycle of our projects, from new business, design through development, manufacturing and in-service support
Your skills and experiences:
- Minimum of HNC or recognised degree and/or apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering, or in similar Engineering subject
- Good knowledge and experience of manufacturing processes and Engineering principles
- Experience with CMM measurement data analysis to aid problem solving and continuous improvement
- Experience with offline programming for Co-ordinate Measuring Machine’s and understanding of Datum Structures and GD&T

The CMM team:
As apart of working within the CMM Team, you will be tasked with working on inspection airframe structure. You will be engaging with the design team, producing the design standard and manufacturing engineering data into digital data. You will also be responsible for part checks, conformation checks, data analysis and build line support.
