Job title: IT Support Assistant

Salary: from £27,221depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Monitoring of server processes, services and undertaking basic health checks
- User account management and administration of user accounts
- Reviewing and logging of new work requests
- Deploying application updates
- Working with diverse groups of people to investigate, identify and resolve system problems
- Assisting with Software Testing
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Excellent IT skills with a demonstrable background in providing end user application support;
- Experience of basic toolset administration;
- Customer facing Service Delivery experience in any industry or sector;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Be self-motivated to learn and develop new skills
Desirable:
- Some Microsoft SQL Server administration
- Some Windows Server administration
- An understanding of Product Lifecycle Management toolsets
- Software configuration control
- Experience of Configuration Management tools and processes

The Product Development Team enable our Submarine Programmes by providing specialist infrastructure support and server administration.
