Job title: IT Support Assistant

Salary: from £27,221depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring of server processes, services and undertaking basic health checks
• User account management and administration of user accounts
• Reviewing and logging of new work requests
• Deploying application updates
• Working with diverse groups of people to investigate, identify and resolve system problems
• Assisting with Software Testing

Your skills and qualifications:

Essential:

• Excellent IT skills with a demonstrable background in providing end user application support;
• Experience of basic toolset administration;
• Customer facing Service Delivery experience in any industry or sector;
• Excellent communications skills;
• Be self-motivated to learn and develop new skills

Desirable:

• Some Microsoft SQL Server administration
• Some Windows Server administration
• An understanding of Product Lifecycle Management toolsets
• Software configuration control
• Experience of Configuration Management tools and processes

The Product Development Group Team:

The Product Development Team enable our Submarine Programmes by providing specialist infrastructure support and server administration.
